Would go back and reccomend if the groundsman wasn't there. He is unruly, council should get a new caretaker.

What a fabulous spot great park caretakers couldn't be more friendly came for a day and stayed a month

His ability to speak to people in a calm manner was massively lacking. His comments about F******* off back to Melbourne were out of line and unnecessary.

The caretaker was on somewhat of a power trip with his nonsensical rules which took away from a relaxing weekend. I feel camping should be relaxed and unless we are hurting or disturbing others everything should be okay. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, we were not allowed to put up ropes to hang towels or nets to play volley ball. Worst of all, setting up a gas stove between the beach and the camp ground to cook ourselves food warranted us a threat of getting kicked out via a police escort if we didn't yield to his requests.

His coy demeanour and complete lack of respect and inability to properly explain to us why we weren't aloud to put up ropes for hanging towels was beyond comprehension.

Beautiful place - horrendous experience with the local groundsman. Rude and borderline racist. His comments were unjustified and he acted like army personal when dictating the rules to ourselves and other campers.

Only go there if you are willing to just stay inside your tent for your entire stay at the camp ground.

Beautiful place but Adolf Hitler was pretending to be a caretaker. This guy is stealing a living as caretaker. He was swearing at me and my friends for playing quiet music and abused non park members when they entered the ground.

Great spot, close to beach with good facilities. Even saw dolphins swimming just off the beach. Must note that as other people suggested the caretaker is a complete knob. Runs the park like a prison camp even with regular patrols, couldn't relax the whole time I was there.

The place was as beautiful as it was when I had visited it once about 10 years ago, however The camp ground allocations were bigger back then.
